For me if you play well and/or score in a European game you have to start the next League game. These new signings haven't come to just play in European fixtures, they want to play in the PL. I like Antonio but if he starts over Scamacca on Sunday then it sends out the wrong message to incomers. Moyes can't keep bleating on about bedding in and players not being ready. Play those in form and not the favourites. It then might just give those "favourites" a kick up the arse.

Fwiw, and I'm probably in a minority now, but I'm still happy with Antonio starting, for now, but he really needs to impress very soon. Highly unlikely he'll start both of course.

Antonio has done very little in the last 3 premiership games to even be considered for a starting place unless Moyes plays two up front.

The only real reason for Antonio to start is because we have spurs on weds
I expect scamacca to start against spurs and Chelsea
Would have thought Emerson would start against villa though

Id start Scamacca on Sunday and Antonio against Spurs, who he always relishes playing against and generally has a great game against.

Yes, Scamacca should start, with Antonio replacing him for the last half hour. Likewise Benrahma and Cornet. For me, Soucek still has to start because we have nobody better at the moment - Downes clearly isn't the answer. In the longer term, when we have more fit CBs, I reckon Kehrer might do a good job alongside Rice - his passing looks much better than Soucek's. Would love to see Ogbonna back in there but I doubt he's quite ready so soon after playing 90 minutes. I thought Johnson looked really good last night, better than usual going forward as well as defending, so should keep his place.

I think Dithering Dave can't dither and get away with it. He needs to make changes from 3 PL defeats when the Europa wins are pointing the way to win. Firstly a confident scoring CF helps massively so Scamacca has to start.
I'd start Bowen, Benrahma and Antonio behind him. Let them rotate but Benrahma needs to show what he can do centrally and Antonio can remind us what a strong runner he is on the flanks.
Dec and Soucek seems cast in stone.
Defence is going to be interesting. Emerson should start over Cresswell but will Moyes make that change? Is Emerson looking good in training?
Johnson looked really good last night apart from some late indifferent play. I think it's marginal whether he or Coufal play so Moyes gets top dollar to make these calls.
CB is interesting as Ogbonna was great last night but it was against Danish opposition admittedly. Zouma should be fresher and get to play alongside Kehrer but I see all those players forming a formisable back 3 anytime soon.
